Recently I have discovered and devoured Lamott's honest, charming, and blatant writing. In this time of searching she has become a flicker of light, allowing me to see our humanity as divinity.
My friend Michele texted me yesterday to ask if it was, in fact, Lamott I had been reading, I said yes, and she informed me of here appearance on the Colbert Report. Josh and I do not pay for television programing, we watch a lot of movies from Netflix and we watch a lot of programing on the internet. So, I told Michele I would have to find it and she suggested comedycentral.com. I had trouble loading the video on the site, so I've encoded it here. Hopefully who every would like to watch it will be able to do so without hassle. Also, have any of you read Lamott, if so I would love to open a dialog about her writing, philosophy, and/or theology.
