The scene: I was at the grocery store with my 20 month year old niece. She was sitting in the basket area of the cart and decided to stand up. I saw this. Of course, I saw it. But, what was the big deal? She's two feet tall and isn't going anywhere. It wasn't as if she was in the seat of the cart and decided to stand up. This lady insisted on yelling at me until I turned around to notice her. Yes, notice HER, not show that I noticed my niece's actions.
Responsible, caring adults....I respect you. But, please. Just because I do not have gray hairs or grandchildren...I am still very capable of caring for a child. Hence the massive bump growing from my abdomen. If I can't care for them now...I better be able to soon.
